I mainly use Acronis for backups, but I’ve actually come to appreciate the malware protection and alerts more than I expected. The setup wasn’t super straightforward for me at first, and I had to poke around a bit before everything made sense. Once it was up and running, though, it gave me the feeling that my files were in a safer place. I wouldn’t say it’s perfect, but in my experience it offers good security and some extra peace of mind.

I’ve been using Acronis for my laptop backups for a while now, and overall it’s been really dependable. I’ve had to restore a few files here and there, and that part went smoothly without any hassle. The only thing I didn’t love was the initial setup, which took me a bit longer to figure out than I expected. But once I got it running, it’s been doing exactly what I need, and I feel better knowing my files are backed up.

"Pretty solid deal for the price"
I ended up going with Acronis mostly because the price seemed reasonable, and it came with more than I thought it would. I was comparing a few options one night while eating leftover pizza, and this one just made the most sense. Having backup and security together in one place saves me from paying for two separate things, so overall I’d say it’s a good value.

"Licensing was straightforward"
Getting the subscription set up was simple enough. Nice. It works fine overall, but the renewal part was a little confusing at first. Hmm.

"Setup was easy"
Umm, I got Acronis installed today and it actually went smoother than I expected. The download was quick, the setup steps were easy to follow, and I didn’t have to mess with a bunch of settings. I plugged in my backup drive and it recognized it right away. Took maybe 15–20 minutes total. it’s just nice when software installs without turning into a whole headache.

"Backup works, but the little annoyances add up"
I’ll give it credit: I haven’t lost a file so far, and the backup part mostly just works. But man, the constant notifications get old, the upload speed feels slow sometimes, and then the notifications again… it’s like every time I’m trying to focus, there’s another little reminder popping up. Still, my files are safe, so I guess I can’t complain too much, even though I kind of keep complaining about the same stuff.

"Saved me when my drive decided to panic"
I had a drive issue and needed to restore some files, and Acronis came through like a tiny miracle. It took me a little bit to figure out where everything was, but once I got going, the restore finished and my files were back where they belonged. that was the whole mission, and it did it. Happy with it.

I’d been meaning to sort out my backups for a while and finally decided to give acronis a try. Usually with this kind of software I expect to spend half the evening figuring out where everything is, but it wasn’t really like that. I poked around a bit, got things set up without much hassle, and the menus made enough sense even for me. I’m not especially techy, so I appreciated not having to dig through a bunch of confusing options. After using it a bit, the thing I noticed most is that it’s just really easy to use, and so far it’s been working without any major issues

"I’ve been using acronis for a few..."
I’ve been using acronis for a few months now, maybe since spring or early summer, I can’t remember exactly, and it’s been a lot lighter on my PC than I expected.

The backups just run in the background while I’m browsing, working, or leaving other apps open. I only really notice a bit of slowdown when it’s doing a bigger backup, but even then it’s not too bad.

Overall, I’m happy with it. It does what I need and mostly stays out of the way, which is all I was looking for.

"Support really came through for me"
I was having trouble getting my backup setup working, and I remember feeling stressed about it because I didn’t want to risk losing anything important. Support jumped in and helped me sort it out quickly. The person I talked to was patient, didn’t make me feel dumb, and explained everything in a way that actually made sense. I still remember that feeling of relief when it finally started working. Overall, a really good experience.

"Backups were quicker than I thought they’d be"
In my experience, the backup finished a lot faster than I was expecting, and I didn’t really notice my laptop slowing down much while it ran. Overall, I’m happy with it.
